We use personal information collected from donors for the purposes of processing payments and communicating with donors about Architecture for Humanity as well as conducting the fundraising and other operations of Architecture for Humanity. To provide donors the best possible experience, we work with service providers and may share Donor Data and other information with, or have it transmitted through, them. Such service providers include, for example, collocation facilities and bandwidth providers as well as organizations that help non-profit organizations with fundraising.

It is our internal policy to limit access to financial information to professional staff and volunteers who need to process that information for the purposes described above. Personal financial information is not sold to or traded with other parties.

Usually, the privacy policies of these organizations will be presented to you on their respective websites and typically also as part of your donation process. If you pay by credit card, we do not store your credit card information, bank account numbers, or other financial account data sent directly to those processing services.

Donations to Architecture for Humanity made by check are processed in accordance with our financial policies and generally accepted accounting controls.

Online Surveys: From time to time, we may conduct online surveys, which ask visitors for voluntary information on various topics of interest to us. Information supplied for online surveys is used only by us. It is not sold or provided to vendors, direct mail concerns, email list services, etc.

Project Areas: Access to Project Areas within the site may require username and password registration. This information is determined by each individual at the time of registration. You are asked to fill out a personal profile, which asks you to specify your name or an alias to register your account. Other fields provided for your email address and other personal data are entirely optional.

Other Forms: Architecture for Humanity may collect personal information or other information via forms on its website in order to fulfill its charitable mission. These may include requests for design services, volunteer sign-ups, and other activities. Access to personal information collected through forms is limited to professional staff and volunteers who have need of the information for the fulfillment of Architecture for Humanity's charitable mission. For example, tax laws in the United States and the State of New York may require Architecture for Humanity to keep contact information and contribution level of donors on file.
